The Huichols are a small tribe of approximately 15,000 living in Mexico's Sierra Madre Mountains, and are perhaps the last tribe in North America to have retained their pre-Columbian traditions. They have used chocolate in ceremonies since ancient times, leaving offerings of chocolate to show their love for Mother Earth.
