| Maker Comments | Trinitario is originally from Trinidad & Tobago, giving the cacao its name, and is a cross between criollo and Forastero varieties. The trees get the more robust structure and high yields from their Forastero parent, while having a more complex flavor profile coming from the criollo genetics. Tastes like orange peel, red fruit and almond butter. |
