The varieties of cocoa produced in this region are Criollo Méida, Guasare, Porcelana, and hybrid cocoa such as Criollo Lobatera. All share Criollo ancestry, large sized beans, great flavour, and come from historical plantings. Notes of cream, cashews, & raisins.
