 Promenade Flourishes, Twirls

Definition:

These include: The twirl or spin when meeting partner on a grand right and left ready to start a promenade; the twirl sometimes done by a lady at the end of a swing (hopefully not into a left allemande!); and the twirl done at home at the finish of a promenade. These twirls are of different character depending upon region of the country and the inclination of the dancers.
