 SCVSDA Notes  -  August 1981

Definition:

From a promenade or thar star: Designated dancers (heads, boys, etc.) take one step ahead; others 1/2 Circulate (like a Bend the Line). A promenade gives 2-faced lines; thars give either parallel waves or phantom waves. Ends remain ends; centers remain centers.
