 Tag Right/Out, Left/In

Definition:

Tag Right/Out, Left/In etc. -- Bill Davis, Menlo Park, Cal. 1975

From regular or two faced lines or waves: Do a Tag the Line and the lead dancers face according to the first call (e.g., Right) and the trailers face according to the second call (e.g., Out). The four calls Right, Out, Left, In may be used in appropriate doublet combinations.

Tag Zig In/Out; Zag In/Out -- suggestion by Will Orlich, Bradenton, Fla. 1975

From regular lines, two faced lines or waves: Do a Tag the Line and the lead dancers take the first call (Zig) as the trailers take the second call (In/Out).

COMMENT: The latter suggestion (Zig In, Zag Out, etc.) causes less confusion. Time will tell.

Bill Davis and Willard Orlich 1975
