In the wave: Rock forward and back. NOTE: A right-hand wave, so called, is made up of four dancers arranged so that the ends and adjacent centers (neighbors) have right hands joined. A left hand wave is arranged so that neighbors have left hands joined. "Partners" in a wave are those facing in the same direction.
