Definition:
 

From a tidal wave: All Swing. The center six Cast 3/4, while the ends Counter Rotate 1/4, meet the very centers, Single Hinge & Spread. The other four do the centers' part of a Cast a Shadow (i.e., leaders "shadow", trailers Extend, Hinge, and Extend).

Definition:
 

From a Tidal Wave: All turn half by the right. Center girls Trade and step ahead to the left to become ends of new parallel waves as the boys Cast off 3/4. End girls walk forward and pass the other girls and face in to become the other ends of new parallel waves. Lead boys cloverleaf into the nearest center spot in new waves and the trailing boys step ahead. Trailing boys hinge and step into the remaining center spot in the new waves.
