Peel The Top

Definition:

Starting formation - box circulate or Z-Formation. TIMING - 6

The lead dancers Peel Off as the trailing dancers step straight forward and take adjacent hands; everyone then does a Fan the Top.

STYLING: Lead dancers have arms in natural dance position and adjust hands to appropriate position for next call. It is important that dancers move slightly forward before starting the "peeling" motion. Trailing dancers use hands up position and styling as described in the basic Swing Thru.

Peel The Top

 Peel The Top

Definition:

Peel the Top is a smooth action figure combining the peel off and fan the top basics. From the "Z" formation set up by having the ends fold from an ocean wave the action takes place..... The Leaders will Peel Off as the trailers step ahead to join left hands then all fan the top.....I suggest the following set up to get aquainted.....Box 1-4 Swing Thru...Girls Fold.....Now Peel The Top..... The Boys Peel while the Girls step ahead and the Fan the Top is from standard position.....The figure has a nice flow to it and is easily adapted to your choreography.
