Two versions of Dip and Dive:

  1. From Promenade:
    • Designated couples Wheel Around and make an arch, others duck under (no California Twirl).
    • Move on to the next couple, and those who previously did the duck under make an arch and the other couple duck under.
    • Repeat the last step above.
    Can also be done from Facing Lines if the caller designates who is to arch or who is to duck under.
     
  2. From couple-based Columns of 3 (e.g., from a squared set after one couple does a Lead Right):
    • Centers arch as outside couple duck under. Those who arched do a California twirl.
    • Repeat the step above, until returning to original starting position, or as specified by the caller.
