Definition:

From couples back-to-back: Belles r-face Turn Back; Vertical Tag, i.e. out-facers (leaders) Fold; all complete the designated fraction of a Tag (1/4, 1/2, 3/4, full) then take facing command, if any.

 Complete Your Tag

Definition:

From any formation achievable by a fractional tag: All walk straight ahead until in a completed double pass thru formation. NOTE: Although the original idea was for dancers to have reached the starting formation by an actual fractional tag call, in practice many callers use Complete Your Tag from formations that have been reached by calls other than Tag calls; e.g., Heads Pass the Ocean (into "one quarter tag formation") and then Complete Your Tag (into completed double pass thru formation).

Ron Schneider 1974

This definition is from The Handbook of Modern Square Dancing by Jay King.

 Couples Hinge

Definition:

From a line of four or two-faced line: Do a half wheel across (or half a couples trade). Finishes in a two-faced line at right angles to original line. BACKGROUND NOTE: The "Couples Hinge" was extracted from a longer movement by Ron called Couples Hinge And Trade (on the Challenge Dancing's Basic Calls list). From a two-faced line, the Couples Hinge movement is actually a fractionated version of older movements called "Four in Line You Travel" and "Weathervane."

 Couples Hinge And Trade

Definition:

From two lines (facing in or out) or parallel two-faced lines: Couples do a half wheel across. The outside couples finish as in a wheel and deal. The inside couples do a full wheel across in the center and then bend the line. All two-faced lines and lines facing out finish in double pass thru formation. Regular lines facing in finish in trade by formation.

Ron Schneider 1973

Curli-Cross The Top

 Curly Cross The Top

From a Three and One Line (with the opposite facing dancer in one of the center spots): The regular couple does a Wheel and Deal and the mini wave couple does a Recycle--finishes with one couple in front of the other (if the "regular" couple is on the right end, they finish in front and if on the left end, they finish behind the mini wave couple).
