  1. Swing The Line

This may not be a complete list of all calls authored by Jim Mayo.

 Swing The Line

Definition:

Version #1

From couples facing: Using right arm turn, turn each other 1/4, 1/2, 3/4 or full or even a turn and a quarter, then pull by. Finishes with couples back to back. (Gene McCullough 1970)

COMMENT: Swing the Line Half is a Turn Thru. Perhaps the other fractions would be useful.

Version #2

From facing couples: Swing Thru, Step Thru then turn as the caller directs (Right, Left, In, Out). Various ending formations. (Jim Mayo 1974)

COMMENT: Swing The Line In would be the same as Swing About. This can probably be called directionally.

Gene McCullough and Jim Mayo 1970-74
