From lines back-to-back: Start a Chase Right, but when the original beaus meet, make a wave where the very centers Trade and Cast Off 3/4 with the wave ends to join the original belles who finish their part of Chase Right and add a Roll at the end. Gives parallel left-hand waves.
Left Chase The Wave - Same as Above except that dancers start a Left Chase and action of original belles and beaus is interchanged. Ends in right-hand waves.
From center to center diamonds: Wave ends Diamond Circulate & Roll as wave centers Trade and Extend to join wave ends; points Counter Rotate (Promenade) 1/4 to become ends of parallel waves/2-faced lines.
From Trade By formation: Those facing out Peel Off and Pass In to become centers of a line. Center four, meanwhile, Pass Thru, Partner Tag and U-turn back to become ends of a line. Finishes in lines facing in.
From one couple behind another: Lead couples Drift Around as the trailing Beau walks and the trailing Belle Dodges. Finishes with a mini wave in the "lead" and a regular couple as trailers. From parallel two faced lines, finishes in Three and One Lines.
From parallel waves or two-faced lines: Centers do the Scoot Back while the ends Circulate. Waves finish as waves and two-faced lines as two-faced lines. (NOTE: An Acey Deucey with Centers Scoot Back accomplishing the "Centers Trade").
From a diamond formation: Centers Trade and then U-turn back (turning toward each other). Points Diamond Circulate. Regular diamonds finish in a wave. Facing diamonds finish in a two faced line.
NOTE: Can also Toss The Wave and Toss The Two Faced Line. Wave finishes as a regular diamond and two faced line finishes as a facing diamond.
From parallel two-faced lines or waves: Centers step ahead as ends slide together (Step & Slide); finish like a Coordinate, i.e. Triple Trade then lonesome ends and center centers move up to ends of lines/waves. Waves remain waves; lines remain lines.
