 Right By/Left By 

Definition:
 

From facing dancers: Step into a right hand mini wave (Right By), do a Single Hinge and Step Thru. If started from facing couples, finishes in a variant of Z formation with the lead couples ahead of the trailing two who are shoulder to shoulder. On Left By, step into a left hand mini wave then Single Hinge and Step Thru.

 Scatter The Line 

Definition:
 

From parallel waves or two faced lines: Ends Cross Circulate as the centers Flip into vacated end spots. Waves become two faced lines and vice versa.

COMMENT: This is obviously a useful idea, but which name shall we use?
