OPENER - MIDDLE BREAK

Give 'er a little swing, will ya huh?
Promenade the ring, will ya, huh?
Let's all backtrack, go the other way
The gents star right, you let the ladies stay
Turn 'em by the left, go twice around
Your corners dosado
Come back home and swing your own around and around
Promenade the circle boys, you promenade the town
Singing, give 'er a little swing, will ya, huh?
And she'll give it right back to you

FIGURE

The head two couples bow, go forward up and back
Lead to the right, circle to a line, the head gents break
Go forward up and back, pass thru, turn back
Now the center 4 do a right & left thru, a 1/2 sashay
Box the gnat, trail on back, swing the one you meet
You go around and around
Promenade your baby boys, you promenade the town
Singing, give 'er a little swing, will ya, huh?
And she'll give it right back to you

Cue Sheet side B

OPENER - MIDDLE BREAK

Dixie chain around the ring*
(use any standard opener, then:)
Promenade don't slow down, keep on walking those gals around
1 & 3 wheel around, right & left thru
With the couple you've found
Right & left back on the same old track
The same two ladies chain
Wheel 'em around, put the lady in the lead
Let's dixie chain around that ring
A right, a left, a right, a left to your own but not too far
The boys back up in a right hand star
Throw in the clutch, put 'er in low (gents release the ladies and all move forward)
Pass her twice on you go
Your corners all left allemande
A right to your partner, right & left grand
Meet your partner, meet your maid
Just take her hand and promenade
Promenade 'em two by two
When you get back home, she'll swing with you, everybody swing

FIGURE

1 & 3 go forward up and back with you
Forward again, a right & left thru
The same two ladies chain
The heads to the right, circle up 4
The head ladies break, two lines of 4
Forward eight and back like that
Opposite right, box the gnat
Right & left thru the other way back
Forward 8, come back with you
Just the ends square thru
A right, a left, a right, a left, facing out
Split the ring, go around one
Come down the center, box the gnat
Pull 'er by, there's old corner
Allemande left, grand right & left, etc.

*Dixie chain around the ring: the ladies lead with the right hand and the gents follow up with the left hand and the dancers continue around the ring in this manner until each gent meets his original partner again.

Gimme A Little Kiss (Will Ya Huh?) Lyrics ID: 2729

A little boy was wild about
A little girl who found it out
She tried to play so hard to get
You know he hasn't even kissed her yet

He comes around and she turns her down
Comes back again and hangs around
Waiting for one kiss
While he pleads like this

Gimme a little kiss, will ya huh
What do you wanna miss, will ya huh
Gosh oh gee, why do you refuse?
I can't see what you've got to lose

Oh gimme a little squeeze, will ya huh
Why do you wanna make me blue?
I wouldn't say a word if I were asking for the world
But what's a little kiss between a fellow and his girl?

Oh gimme a little kiss, will ya huh
And I'll give it right back to you

It's been a year since first they met
And he hasn't quite succeeded yet
A month ago he held her hand
And his patience, I can't quite understand

That they're engaged don't mean a thing
He's in a rage, and takes back his ring
Gives it back once more
While he starts to roar

Gimme a little kiss, will ya huh
What do you wanna miss, will ya huh
Gosh oh gee, why do you refuse?
I can't see what you've gotta lose

Oh gimme a little squeeze, will ya huh
Why do you wanna make me blue?
I wouldn't say a word if I were asking for the world
But what's a little kiss between a fellow and his girl?

Oh gimme a little kiss, will ya huh
And I'll give it right back to you

And then she'd say
Gimme a little coat, will ya huh
Sable or mink or goat, will ya huh
You know my poor hand it's as bare as anything
I could stand a little bracelet or maybe a diamond ring

Gimme a little car, will ya huh
That would be mighty nice to do
A Packard or a Lincoln or a Cadillac sedan
I'd even take a Rolls, and you can add a chauffeur man
But don't you give me a little Ford, will ya huh
Or I'll give it right back to you

Composed by Maceo Pinkard.
Lyrics by Roy Turk and Jack Smith.
Recorded by Whispering Jack Smith; Dean Martin; Frank Sinatra.
