Cue Sheet side A

OPENER    Basic

Honor your old fashioned girl
Hold her close, swing and whirl
Then promenade that ring
Now promenade single file, ladies in the lead and watch 'em smile
Dosado your honey as she comes around to you
Swing her once or twice, just like your daddy used to do
Then you promenade that girl
She's just like the girl that married dear old dad

FIGURE

Head gents swing your maids
Take those girls and promenade just halfway round that ring
Right & left thru right up to the middle
Hurry up, boys, keep time to the fiddle
Your left hand ladies chain
All 4 ladies chain across the hall
Chain right back again, don't let 'em fall
Promenade this new little girl
She's just like the girl that married dear old dad

MIDDLE BREAK - CLOSER    Basic

Dosado your corner girl, go back home, swing and whirl
Swing the girl like dear old daddy said
Allemande left with the ol' left hand
Partner right and a right & left grand
Hand over hand around the ring you go
Now you dosado the girl with eyes so blue
Swing her round and round, just like your daddy used to do
Then you promenade that girl
She's just like the girl that married dear old dad

Cue Sheet side B

OPENER

Everybody swing your corners, boys, swing 'em high and low
Swing the next girl down the line, don't let her go
Now go back home and swing your own, swing and swing and swing
Then promenade your pretty girl round the ring

FIGURE

First old couple lead to the right, circle 4 hands round
Leave her there, go on to the next, circle 3 hands round
Take that couple on with you and circle 5 hands round
Now leave those 4 and join the line of 3
The ladies chain across the hall, but don't return
Now chain again along that line, just watch 'em churn
Now turn and chain across the hall, don't let 'em roam
Now chain the line and swing your honey home

BREAK    Basic

Allemande left with the old left hand, and around that ring you go
It's a grand old right & left, boys, walk on the heel and toe
And when you meet that gal of yours, just dosado
And then you promenade that pretty little girl back home

(Repeat figure with second couple working,
Repeat break
Repeat figure with third couple working,
Repeat break
Repeat figure with fourth couple working,
Repeat break for closer)

I Want A Girl (Just Like the Girl That Married Dear Old Dad) Lyrics ID: 937

When I was a boy
My mother often said to me,
Get married boy, and see,
How happy you will be.

I have looked all over,
But no girlie can I find,
Who seems to be just like
The little girl I have in mind.

I will have to look around
Until the right one I have found....

I want a girl just like the girl
That married dear old dad!
She was a pearl and the only girl
That daddy ever had.

Composed by Harry Von Tilzer.
Lyrics by Will Dillon.

Hurry! Hurry! Hurry! Lyrics ID: 3479

Hurry! hurry! hurry! hurry! back to me
When I'm all alone, I'm lonely as can be
All I do is think about you constantly
So darling, hurry! hurry! hurry!, back to me.

When we say good night I'm in such misery
Maybe it's because I like your company
Maybe it's because I love you possibly
So darling, hurry! hurry! hurry!, back to me.

You kiss my lips, and start a fire
I think I'm melting in your arms
We kiss again, the flame goes higher
Then I'm up in heaven, you're so charming.

Hurry! hurry! hurry! hurry! back to me
Every night without you is eternity
If you want to know how happy you can be
Then darling, hurry! hurry! hurry!, back to me.

Don't stay away so long
Darling, how I yearn
I sing this little song
Hoping you'll return dear.

(bridge)

Hurry! hurry!, hurry! hurry! hurry!, back to me
When I'm all alone, I'm lonely as can be
All I do is think about you constantly
So darling, hurry! hurry! hurry! hurry!, back to me.
Hurry! hurry!, hurry, back.

You kiss my lips, and start a fire
I think I'm melting (I'm melting) in your arms
We kiss again, the flame goes higher
Then I'm up in heaven, you're so charmin'.

Hurry! hurry! hurry! hurry! hurry! back to me
Every night without you is eternity
If you want to know how happy you can be
Then darling, hurry! hurry! hurry! hurry!,
Hurry! hurry! hurry! hurry! hurry!
Hurry! hurry! hurry! hurry! hurry! back to me.
