Profile in Callers and Cuers

Tim grew up in a square dance family and began dancing in his early teens. In 1974, age 15, he started calling and has been actively calling since that time. He calls and teaches lessons at all levels through A-2 and has called throughout the USA and in Germany. Tim is a charter member of the East Texas Callers Association, member of the Texas State Callers Association, and has been a Callerlab member since 1980. Also he has served on numerous panels & clinics at Callerlab and National Square Dance Conventions. Tim and his wife Sissy, are round dancers and are former clogging instructors! They began square dancing together in high school and were charter members of the East Texas Teen Twirlers. He was also the co-club caller! Tim & Sissy were married in 1983 and are the proud parents of 4 children (age 5 through 11).
