Non-designated dancers do their part of the given call, "dragging" (or
pulling) the designated dancers along with them.
- Drag The anyone (For A) anything
Unless otherwise specified, designated dancers are "dragged" by the
dancer who is their partner within the overall formation.
Designated (dragged) dancers hold onto their partner's hand
throughout the duration of the call.
Designated (dragged) dancers should try to track the movement of the
dancer dragging them so that their traffic pattern can be anticipated.
Non-designated dancers do the call, ending in their normal ending
position. No additional "breathing" is done to allow for the
dragged dancer. The dragged dancer simply ends adjacent to the dancer
who dragged them.
Ah So is the same as
Drag The Centers (For A) Wheel & Deal.
Note to callers: Since dragging a dancer backward can often result in awkward
choreography, be careful when applying this concept.
