Dorothy cued for Silver Stars Square Dance Club, Vancouver, WA, SugarQs and TGIF Round Dance Clubs, Portland, OR. She started cueing in 1978. Hoyt and Dorothy were married 24 years until Dorothy's death on September 27, 2018. They belonged to ORDTA, NWRDTA, Roundalab, Evergreen Council (Round Dance Coordinators). Dorothy was always very patient with students and helped many others even when their abilities were limited. Dorothy's philosophy was "Dance, dance, dance".
