Terry Jon Passarino was born on September 30, 1952 in Ballico, California the son of John Passarino and Florence Passarino Eger. In his youth he farmed tomatoes with his dad and brother. After graduating from Merced High & Merced College he was hired as a Merced City Fire Fighter on July 1, 1974, then promoted to Fire Engineer on Dec 12, 1977. Terry was promoted to Fire Captain on Sept 18, 1980. He retired on May 4, 2004.

Terry met the love of his life, Janet Hillerman in 1992 and they married in Nov 1995. They enjoyed traveling, square dancing, geocaching and working on projects together.

He started calling Square Dancing in approximately 2007 and became Club Caller for the Turlock Steppinpards until he and Janet moved to Idaho in Nov 2020. Terry was an avid pickleball player which he played 3-5 days a week.

Terry passed away on March 17, 2022 at 69 years old. He is preceded in death by his parents, sister Jerry Ann Passarino Wright (Larry Wright) and infant brother Edward Eger. He is survived by brother Don Passarino, sisters Yvonne Passarino Jackson (Glen Jackson), Cheryl Eger Oylear (Darren Oylear), Beverly Eger Govea (Chris Govea) and their families.

Celebration of life to be held on April 28, 2022 @ 1:30 p.m., at the Italian Lodge, 1351 W. 18th St., Merced, California.
