I am traveling part time. I call for a flat rate, no percentages. I am a second generation caller, my father called in the 1950's and 1960's. I did singing calls with him in 1965. I did not call again until 1992, after being a "retread" in 1991. Associations I belong to include ACA, Southeast Iowa Callers Assoc. and Iowa State Callers, Cuers and Instructors Association. I play both 6&12 string guitar, and Hammered Dulcimer,also Mandolin&Mandocello.I just love all kinds of music. I think as long as you have fun in square dancing,I call for a group of senior citizens, one day a week. I do call in my regional area. and you love what you're doing, you have a good outlook on life.
