Matt began taking square dance lessons with his grandmother in 2004 when he was eleven years old. Singing has always been one of his passions, so after dancing for around ten months, he decided learning how to call was the right thing to do! A year after graduating dance lessons, Matt called his first full tip in 2006. Fast forward to the present, Matt calls multiple dances a month for various clubs across New England. He serves as a director for both the Northeast Callers School (Sturbridge, MA) and the Hayloft Steppers Barn (Sturbridge, MA). He has also served as Program Chairperson for the New England Square and Round Dance Convention. When Matt is not working his day job as an IT Manager, he attends dances, festivals, weekends, and conventions across the country. Matt is also on staff for Rhythm Records.
