Genre flags indicate the genre of music.
CSDS comes with a few intrinsic flags
- 'P' for patter;
- 'S' for singer;
- 'R' for round;
- 'L' for line; and
- 'A' for sing-along
Each music item may have zero or more genre flags associated with it.
Up to 48 flags may be defined. Flags may be used for any purpose.
For example: holiday music, jazz, special events, key change, gospel, broadway, exciting music, etc.
Filters within Music Grid Windows
(Music Database,
Music Quick List,
Music Queue,
Music History List,
etc)
allow you to only show music with specific combinations of flags.
Adding or editing flags can be done via:
- Edit Music Database | Edit | Genre Flags...', or
- Music | Genre Flags
