Click on the latest csds2publishNNN.zip link to download the installation package |
Open the file as shown above, or save to disk then open it.

You many need to unzip (extract all) the contents of the downloaded zip file.
Run setup.exe to start the installation. |
At this point, a virus scanner may pop-up. If so, click on 'More Info' and/or 'Run anyway'.

You may be required to install .NET Framework 3.5... |
Press the "Install" button above.
After the installation completes,
the program should start automatically.

You will be prompted for the location of the
'Application Data Folder',
which is where the program will store its data.
If you are copying CSDS to a new computer, you should have already copied the
application data folder to the new computer. Enter the pathname of the copied
folder, otherwise (for a new installation) create a new folder (such as C:\CsdsData).
Do not choose a folder in your system area (C:\Users\...) or on your desktop.

Press the "Download from ceder.net" button above.

Several additional files need to be downloaded from www.ceder.net. |
Press the "Yes" button above.
It may take a few minutes to download these files.

You will be prompted for a user key, of the form XXXX-XXXX-XXXX.
If you do not have your user key, Contact Debbie |
Enter your user key then press OK

The following message box may appear: |
The above message indicates that the entered user key is not found.
How to resolve:
- Double-check the entered user key.
- Press the 'Upload User List from Web' to get the most recent version of the user list.
- If all else fails, contact Debbie.
You should now see something like this...
The program is now installed.
Please do the following steps ensure that you've got the most recent version.

From the CSDS main menu,
select 'System | Upgrade program from web'. |
Press the Yes button to download the latest version.
12) |
Wait for a 'success' dialog box to appear. |
13) |
Press the Restart button, and you now have the latest version. |
The program can be found via the windows start button:
All Programs | Cedersoft | Csds2.
14) To create program shortcuts on the desktop and other locations:
from the main menu, select 'System | Create program shortcut...'
15) Press the 'All of the Above' button, or select a desired location.
Note: depending upon the Windows version, some shortcuts may not be created.
