Notes:
  • Some callers believe that The Axle means do the last 3/4 of Pass The Axle [C1], hence they believe it is inappropriate to call The Axle from a Completed Double Pass Thru (since the Centers can not do the first part of the call).
  • Remember that Cross Cast Back [C1] is a Left-Shoulder Pass.

anything The Axle But Cast fraction [C1V]: Replace all Trade with a Cast Off fraction. You must then remember to do the final Centers Trade. If the fraction is 1/4 or 3/4, you will end in Back-to-Back Lines.

"Z" Axle [C3B] (Dave Hodson 1980): From the "Z" obtained from a Line with the Centers in a Mini-Wave after a Step & Slide. Outsides Cross Cast Back; all Trade; Centers Trade. Ends in a Line. This is a 3-part call.
