From a Wave.

As one movement, Centers Run and all Any Shoulder Tag The Line to the given fractional Tag formation. If no fraction is given, complete a full Tag The Line.

This is the starting formation
for each of the following:

1/4 Flip The Line

1/2 Flip The Line

3/4 Flip The Line
 after
Flip The Line

Notes:
  • From a R-H Wave pass Right-shoulders; from a L-H Wave pass Left-shoulders.
  • When starting a Flip The Line, the Ends can give a slight tug on the adjacent Center to get them turning toward the correct direction. Note the emphasis on slight. Please don't jerk anyone's arm out of joint, nor hold on any longer than necessary.
  • 1/2 Flip The Line is equivalent to 2/3 Recycle [C1], except that nobody can Roll after 1/2 Flip The Line.
  • Flip The Line is the base call for many calls.

Flip Back [C1] (Lee Kopman 1973):
1/2 Flip The Line; Scoot Back.

Flip Your Neighbor [C2] (Foggy Thompson 1973):
1/2 Flip The Line; Follow Your Neighbor.

Flip Chain Thru [C3A] (Vince Dicaudo 1973):
1/2 Flip The Line; Scoot Chain Thru.

Flip & Scatter [C3B]:
1/2 Flip The Line; Scatter Scoot.

Flip To A Diamond [C4] (Dick Han 1977):
1/2 Flip The Line; 1/2 Box Circulate.

Cross Flip The Line (fraction) [C3B] (Ron Schneider 1973): From a Two-Faced Line. As one movement, Centers Cross Run and all Any Shoulder Tag The Line to the given fractional Tag formation. If no fraction is given, complete a full Tag The Line.

Snap The (fraction) Tag [C4]: From a Line. Partner Tag; Ends U-Turn Back; Extend to the given fractional Tag formation. If no fraction is given, complete a full Tag The Line. From a R-H Wave, Snap The Tag is the same as Flip The Line.
