Tea Cup Chain [Plus]
  • From a Squared Set, we did Head Ladies Centers for a Tea Cup Chain.
  • Head Ladies:
    1. go to center with a R-H Star 3/4 to your corner
    2. turn corner L-H
    3. go to new corner (opposite man), turn R-H
    4. go to center, L-H Star 1 & 1/4
    5. go to next man, turn R-H
    6. go to new corner (original partner) (with L-H) for a Courtesy Turn
    Side Ladies:
    1. turn corner R-H
    2. go to center, L-H Star 1 & 1/4
    3. go to original opposite man, turn R-H
    4. go to new corner (next man), turn L-H
    5. go to center, R-H Star 3/4
    6. go to partner (with L-H) for a Courtesy Turn
Ladies -- Important points to remember:
    • Start with the R-H, and use alternating hands.
    • Head Ladies start by going to the Center, Side Ladies start with the corner
    • Each Lady goes to each man once, starting with her corner, and going counter-clockwise through the men
Men -- Important points to remember:
    • Start with the R-H
    • Always send the Ladies to the same spot. If you are a Head Man, always send the Ladies to the Center. If you are a Side Man, always send the Ladies to the man on the right (their corner).
    • Use whatever hand the Ladies are coming at you with. Sometimes you will use the same hand twice in a row.
