Central: Bottomline: I interpret your definition to state that unless the formation is specified one works in the 2x2. Is that correct?

Divide The Ocean <anything>: > Do you have a view on how the Anything is supposed to work? > I have in mind that SD has the resulting End dancers sort of work disconnected, > e.g. Divide the Ocean Mini Chase (which gives a different end result to > Divide the Ocean Concentric Mini Chase). In reality, it's not much of an issue > as far as I'm concerned because choreographically it's not very elegant > (for timing and other reasons) to have End dancers doing calls which transfer > at least one of them from one side of the set to the other. However, it would be > good to have a definition that eliminates any uncertainty. I believe SD is wrong. The 'concept' to use for those doing the 'anything' call is neither Disconnected nor Concentric. The 'concept' is Outsides. It's as if you didn't give an anything call, then told the outsides to do something. That is, Divide The Ocean <anything> is a Divide The Ocean <nothing> followed by Outsides <anything>. E.g., I believe you must explicitly say things such as: a) Divide The Sea Concentric Mini-Chase or b) Divide The Sea Disconnected (Box) Mini-Chase. It is not automatic. The reason we (as callers) get away with 4-dancer calls (e.g., Single Cross & Wheel) is that even though the call is a 4-dancer call, it's really a 2-dancer call with a reference point.

Triple Formations Working: note: those in the center triple formation can step forward or backward slightly to see the Split Phantom C|L|W spots, then do the call SP C|L|W and then overlap by 50%.

Split Phantom Diamonds: This week I am teaching Split Phantom Diamonds and Split Phantom 1/4 Tags. A couple of people from my class have pointed out to me that the only thing they could find in your definitions on these concepts was a brief mention at the end of Split Phantom Boxes. Perhaps you could add a page on these concepts, or at least a link to your Split Phantom Boxes page, to make these easier to find? Or, let us know if they are discussed somewhere else that we didn't notice?

Split Phantom: You seem to be missing split phantom 1/4 / 3/4 Tag formation which is now exploitly on the C3B list

Triple {formation}s Working {direction} Concept Triple line/waves working forward/backwards is C3B. All the rest of what you have under this topic is C4. It would help if you made that distinction.

I thought only triples lines/waves working forward/backward were on the C3B list, but the definitions have triple boxes working together/apart/left/right as well. Do I just have a bad idea of what's on the list? http://www.ceder.net/def/tripleformationsworking.php You are correct - only Lines/Waves working Forward/Backward are on C3B. I have made a note to add a clarification statement. Personally, I also use Columns working Right/Left at C3B.

Add entry for Phantom Columns|Lines|Waves|Diamonds and discuss shape changers.
