On load Music, Winamp starts, then stops
When loading a music file via CSDS, Winamp starts playing for a
second then stops. How do I fix this?
It's a Winamp setting issue. To fix the problem:
- Start Winamp;
- From the Winamp program's menu, select 'Options | Preferences';
- In the left-side, select 'Media Library';
- Under the 'Library Options' tab:
- Set "Double click or enter in the Library" to "Enqueues selected item(s)".
- Un-check "Play all items (start with selected) on double click in playlists".
- Un-check "Play search results(start with selected) on double click in media views".
- Close the 'Preferences' window;
- Close Winamp.
- Start CSDS;
- From the CSDS menu, select 'System | Settings...';
- Select the 'Music (1)' tab;
- Make sure that "Open Winamp via 'Send Message'" is checked;
- Close the 'CSDS Settings' window.
