Winamp - controlling from CSDS
I added the Chronotron plug-in and speed control now works. It would be nice, however, if the program controlled Winamp directly.
But CSDS *does* control WinAmp. However, CSDS may need to be configured properly.
First of all, you need WinAmp version 5.x.
To configure CSDS for WinAmp, do the following:
- From the CSDS main menu, select 'System | Settings...';
- Click on the 'Music' tab;
- At the bottom, set the 'WinAmp program' field to the
location of the WinAmp executable (e.g.,
C:\Program Files\Winamp\winamp.exe )
- Close the 'CSDS Settings' window;
- Bring up the CSDS music player (Music | CSDS Music Player);
- Click on the 'Player' tab;
- Select 'WinAmp'.
You should also download and install the
PaceMaker 1.32 plug-in.
