How can I make use of the two cue sheet files "csds_cuesheets_a_thru_m.txt"
and "csds_cuesheets_n_thru_z.txt" located in my directory where also
the program files are located:
The most recent cue sheet files can be downloaded from
http://www.ceder.net/recorddb/csds_download.php
Likewise, the most recent lyrics can be downloaded from
http://www.ceder.net/recorddb/csds_lyrics.php
To automatically load cue sheets into the CSDS Music Database,
- Start CSDS.
- Select menu option Music | Edit Music Database.
- Make sure that the 'Label' and 'Label #' fields
are properly set for all records in the Music Database.
In particular, the 'Label #' field should usually just
be a number (e.g., 102) and not include a side A or B.
- Select menu option Edit | Upgrade Cue Sheets from Web....
- In the resulting dialog box, browse to the
csds_cuesheets_a_thru_m.txt file. Select a
destination folder (this folder must already
exist). Then click the 'OK' button to begin
the process.
- repeat steps 4 and 5 for csds_cuesheets_n_thru_z.txt
Loading lyrics is similar, select menu option Edit | Upgrade Lyrics from Web and file 'csds_lyrics.txt'.
