There are two ways to backup the music database:

1. Copy the *.DAT files from folder C:\SQDATA\MUSIC.
2. From the 'Edit Music Database' menu, select 'Tools | Export (dump database)'. This creates a textual listing of the database, which can be imported into CSDS via the 'Tools | Import' function.

Neither of the above ways actually backup your music (.mp3 or .wav) files. You must do that separately.

You should also backup the Genre Flags table:
