Copying a sequence
Is there a way to take and copy a sequence from one database to another?
We want to reorganize but we want the same sequence in a number of databases.
You can use standard Windows Cut+Paste operations.
E.g.,
goto 'Sequence | Edit Sequence [Text]' and bring up the sequence you want to copy.
When the edit window appears, press Ctrl+A to select all, then press Ctrl+C to copy everything to the Windows clipboard.
Close the edit window.
goto 'Sequence | New Sequence [Text]', and select the database that you wish to copy into.
When the edit window appears, press Ctrl+V to paste the clipboard contents into the edit box.
Close the edit window.
