Interrupts, Replaces, Prefers
When I am writing sequences, how do I handle Interrupts, Replaces, Prefers, etc.?
e.g. "PASS & ROLL, BUT REPLACE THE LAST PASS THRU WITH A SWING THRU"
or
"SCOOT & PLENTY, BUT REPLACE THE 2 SPLIT CIRCULATES WITH 2 INROLL
CIRCULATES"
etc.?
Do I create a new entry for each variation?
Any ideas you can give me would be greatly appreciated.
First a side comment: I suggest you say 'REPLACE' instead of 'BUT REPLACE', as the program is more likely to corrrectly parse the call.
CSDS does not (currently) know how to do 'Ignore' and 'Prefer'. Each instance of these will have to be entered as a separate snapshot.
CSDS is weak on it's implementation of 'Replace' and 'Interrupt'.
Most likely, most instances will have to be entered.
CSDS should be able to do the following:
- (INTERLOCKED) (SCOOT &) PLENTY REPLACE THE STARS WITH <anything>
- (INTERLOCKED) (SCOOT &) PLENTY INTERRUPT BEFORE|AFTER THE BOX
CIRCULATES WITH <anything>
- ALTER THE WAVE, 1/4 THE ALTER, 3/4 THE ALTER, ALTER & CIRCULATE followed by
- REPLACE TURN THE DIAMOND WITH <anything>
- INTERRUPT BEFORE|AFTER TURN THE DIAMOND WITH <anything>
