    I'm trying to update our computers with the square rotation program, and I get messages saying "can't update". The version that was on these computers is 5.22.

    This is what happens on 4 of my 5 laptops! Any suggestions?

    I just tested this on my Windows 10 machine and it works. There's no reason it shouldn't work, IMHO.

    Perhaps there's a virus program that is preventing SQROT from downloading a file?

    You can do a manual update on the 'bad' computers by copying file sqrot.exe from the 'good' computer to each of the bad computers...
    1. On the 'good' computer:
      1. Run sqrot;
      2. From the main window, select 'Help | About Square Rotation Program (SQROT)';
      3. Press the 'Open EXE Folder' button (lower right);
      4. A windows file explorer appears. Copy file 'sqrot.exe' to a thumb drive.
      5. close sqrot.
    2. On each 'bad' computer:
      1. Run sqrot;
      2. From the main window, select 'Help | About Square Rotation Program (SQROT)';
      3. Press the 'Open EXE Folder' button (lower right);
      4. Keep the file explorer window open, and close sqrot.
      5. Copy the sqrot.exe from the thumb drive to the opened folder, overwriting the existing version.

    Alternatively, download the exe file from our site, rename it to sqrot.exe, and replace the version in your computer...
    1. Run sqrot;
    2. From the main window, select 'Help | About Square Rotation Program (SQROT)';
    3. Press the 'Open EXE Folder' button (lower right);
    4. Keep the file explorer window open, and close sqrot.
    5. Download the latest sqrot.exe. As of writing this help file, the latest is https://www.ceder.net/csds2/download.php?filename=sqrot_5.44.exe&type=zzz. Download this file, and rename it to sqrot.exe
    6. Copy the downloaded sqrot.exe from to the opened folder, overwriting the existing version.
