The Merry Christmas Rag    (1991)

Once again, it's that time of year
It's time for tinsel and Christmas cheer!

It's been so long since I've been in the mood
This year, I hear, there's twice the food.

So, get your baby dolls and your mistletoes
Look out the window at all of the snow.

*It's finally here no more kids will nag
Do the Merry Christmas Rag!

I hear the sleigh bells up on the roof
No time to act shy, coy or aloof.

Well, who could it be, but old Santa himself
Accompanied by one of his elves.

"I was stuck down the chimney so I came through the door
I thought we'd eat some cookies and swing on the floor.

"My sleigh's outside and the toys are in the bag
Do the Merry Christmas Rag

Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer, had a very shiny nose.
Frosty the Snowman, was a jolly, happy old soul.

We had a holly jolly razzamatazz
Swinging with Santa to the beat of the jazz.

*My sleigh's outside and the toys are in the bag!
Let's do the Merry Christmas Rag.

Jack Frost decked out in zoot suit
While Mrs. Santa Claus was playing the flute.

The elves' ensemble was on the loose
Make way now for the Christmas Goose.

The toy soldiers just a tapping their drums
With a ratty-tat-tat and a rummy tum-tums

It's finally here no more kids will nag
Do THE MERRY CHRISTMAS RAG!

Do a Merry Christmas Rag with me.
