OPENER - MIDDLE BREAK - CLOSER    Basic - SSD Week 4

Sides face, grand square
There's a burlesque show where the gang loves to go
To see Queenie, the star of the show
The thrill of the evening when out Queenie skips
And the band plays a polka while she strips

Four ladies gonna chain straight across the great big ring
Chain 'em right back home then you promenade
She's always a lady, even in pantomime
And she stops...and always just in time

FIGURE    Mainstream - SSD Week 8, corner progression

1 & 3 (2 & 4) square thru 4 hands in the middle you go
Around the corner lady do a dosado
Swing thru two by two, the boys run to the right
Bend the line and do a right & left thru
Flutter wheel full around, then slide thru
Swing the corner lady, now promenade
She's always a lady, even in pantomime
And she stops...and always just in time

FIGURE (ALTERNATE)    Plus, corner progression

The heads touch 1/4, boys run to the right
Dosado the outside two and make a wave
Boys fold behind the girls, then peel the top
Boys trade, boys run and bend the line
Allemande left the corner girl, come back dosado
Go back and swing the corner, then you promeno
She's always a lady, even in pantomime
And she stops...and always just in time
