two columns

FIGURE (1)

Heads swing awhile, promenade single file
Halfway round that garden wall
Now head ladies chain, side ladies chain
Heads star across the hall
Allemande left then go right & left grand
Meet each lady with a smile
Dosado, then promenade
She must be Mother Nature's child
Sides swing awhile, promenade single file
Halfway round that garden wall
Side ladies chain, head ladies chain
Sides star across the hall
Let's do an allemande left and you swing your own
Promenade her down the line
You may think she's yours but just to be sure
You better change that rose into a clinging vine

FIGURE (2)

Allemande left and you swing with your own
Promenade that rambling rose
Ladies backtrack twice around the hall
Turn a right hand with your taw
Allemande left and you weave the ring
She's gonna wind around your heart
Dosado, now give her a swing
Look out, she might upset your flower cart
Single file down the line, like an old trailing vine
Gents turn into a right hand star
Two times you pass, turn that pretty corner lass
By the left like an allemande thar
Shoot that star, go right & left grand, until
You promenade down the line
From this day hence, there'll be a picket fence
Around that rambling rose of mine

(Call Figure #1 then Figure #2, repeat both.)
