Head (side) couples promenade go halfway round I sing
You lead to the right, circle, make a line for me
Rock up the middle and a come right back, star thru you see
Pass thru, trade by, pass thru, swing the corner
Left allemande new corner girl and promenade

Four ladies promenade get a walkin' round the ring
Get back home and swing the partner, everybody swing
All join hands, circle round the land and then
Allemande left the corner, weave around the ring
Southern rain is like a blessing sent from heaven
You swing the partner then you promenade on home
