OPENER - MIDDLE BREAK - CLOSER    Basic - SSD Week 1

Circle left
Kimberley moon, it's shining on me
And now the men star right, one time tonight
Left allemande and you weave
Kimberley moon, it's shining on me
Swing and promenade
Soft and yellow on high in that indigo sky
Smiling gently

FIGURE    Basic - SSD Week 8, corner progression

Heads promenade you go halfway
Lead to the right and do a dosado
Swing thru, boys run right
Bend the line and then a right & left thru
Star thru, square thru 3 hands and go
Swing your corner, promenade
And that's the feeling I get
When I'm under that Kimberley moon

When I'm under that Kimberley moon

The Kimberley's is a region in the North Western part of Australia. It is probably the most isolated and sparsely populated area in Australia. It has been described as the most dangerous and inhospitable, and yet one of the most beautiful regions in the world. There is such a variety in scenery in the Kimberley's that in some areas there are steep cliffs and in others there are rolling plains, sandy beaches and mangrove flat areas. The great thing about the Kimberley's region is that it is virtually untouched by man, due to its rugged nature and inaccessibility.
