Join up hands, circle left, go walking around the ring
Do a left allemande and weave the ring
Weave it in and out until you meet your maid
Dosado that girl and we'll all promenade
She's the gal from Tennessee, she's long and she's tall
She came down from Birmingham on the Wabash Cannon Ball

Heads promenade halfway around the ring
Come down the middle and do the right & left thru
Flutter wheel around, sweep 1/4 more
Pass thru and do the right & left thru, turn her once more
Square thru 3, go 3/4 round the ring
Left allemande and promenade I sing
Promenade that pretty little thing around the hall
Take her home and swing her on the Wabash Cannon Ball
