Circle to the left you know, your corner allemande
Bow to your own and weave the ring
Today's the first day of square dancin' season
Dosado and promenade the ring
I've got a license to dance for lots of reasons
And square dancin' season will be open all year round
FIGURE Basic, corner progression
1 & 3 (2 & 4) promenade, you go halfway round the ring
Come down the middle and do the right & left thru
Square thru in the middle of the hall, 4 hands around and then
Swing your corner lady high and low
Allemande left new corner, your partner dosado
Allemande left, come back and promenade
