two columns

OPENER - MIDDLE BREAK - CLOSER    Basic - SSD Week 4

Allemande left your corner and you weave around the floor
I've seen the sights
I've had delights on every foreign shore

Dosado when you meet and promenade once more
I'll them right
Sides face grand square
Give me a home among the gum trees, with lots of plum trees
A sheep or two and a kangaroo
Clothes lines out the back, Verandah out the front
And an old rocking chair

FIGURE    Basic - SSD Week 6, unknown progression

Head two ladies chain across, you turn the girl around
Heads will promenade halfway around and now
Sides right & left thru, turn the girl and then
Side two ladies chain across the ring
Join up hands, circle left, around the ring I say
Corner lady swing and then you promenade
When my mates all ask me where's the place that I adore
I tell them right away

FIGURE (ALTERNATE)

Heads square thru go four hands around
Round the corner lady, dosado and now
Swing thru and then spin the top you do
Boys move up and then go right & left thru
Square thru three hands, walking round the ring
Swing the corner girl, let's promenade I sing
Clothes lines out the back and Verandah out the front
And an old rocking chair

Head two couples promenade halfway round the ring
Down the middle, pass the ocean and then extend
Swing thru two by two, the boys run right
Half tag, follow your neighbor, spread
Ladies trade, recycle one time around
Swing the corner lady and you promenade the ring
Clothes lines out the back and Verandah out the front
And an old rocking chair

TAG

And an old rocking chair
And an old rocking chair
