OPENER - MIDDLE BREAK    Basic

Walk around your corner, turn your own by the left
Twice around ta bonne amie
4 ladies chain across, now don't you delay
Chain them right back across the rue de la paix
Left allemande the corner, then go right & left grand
Until you meet your own cherie
You dosado her with a full sashay
Then promenade her down the Champ d'Elysees
How you gonna swing 'em down on the farm
After they've seen Paree?

FIGURE

Heads veer to the right, gents hook by the left
Once and a half and then break free
Head couples to the center, ladies hook and you make
A turn and a half and then the 2 ladies break
Gents hook by the left with the other pair
Once and a half and home you'll be
*Your corner swing 'cause she's been waiting there
Now promenade her with some savoir faire
How you gonna keep 'em down on the farm
After they've seen Paree?

ALTERNATE LYRICS

*Your corner swing and then I'd say we can
Just promenade and though it's tres bien

*Your corner swing, she's been waiting for you
Then promenade but sorta entre nous

*Your corner swing that ought to be your own
Then promenade and she'll say "c'est si bon"

(The dance employs two traditional square dance figures: namely,
1) "Hitch-in-Line and 2) "Four-in-Line-you-Travel". Active couples
with adjacent elbows hooked walk diagonally to the right so the gents
may hook left elbows with right hand gent in a juxtaposed line of 4.
All walk forward to turn line 1-1/2 times around. Then gents break left
elbowhold and active couples go to the center of square as inactive couples
wheel halfway around to face center of set. As active couples meet in center
of set, ladies hook right elbows forming a new juxtaposed line of 4 which is
turned 1-1/2 times, the ladies then break right elbowholds and gents hook
left elbows with gent of opposite inactive couples. Again turn this line 1-1/2
times around after which active couples walk into home position as inactive
couple wheel halfway around to face center of set. Swing corners and promenade
full around.

Same music as Grenn 12175. No MP3 made.
