Three Little Words
Bing Crosby 1930
  (Top 25050)   Don Duffin

two columns

OPENER - MIDDLE BREAK - CLOSER    C4

Join hands and circle that ring
Turn your corner under, you balance and swing
Join hands, well you circle once more
Then roll away, swing this gal you adore
Men, star left and travel one time around
Dosado your lady
Allemande left and you come on back and
Promenade your baby, whisper three little words
That's all we live for, they simply mean
I love you

FIGURE    C1, corner progression

4 ladies chain that old track
Head gents and the corner gal you go forward and back
Dosado across, then you star thru
California twirl, substitute and star thru
California twirl, and do a left allemande
Dosado your lady
Allemande left and you come on back and
Promenade your baby, whisper three little words
That's all we live for, they simply mean
I love you

Callers note: until the dancers have established the pattern, the inactives are sometimes caught flat-footed on the call "substitute". The inactive couples are standing out of gear, with the lady on man's left, and on a bias with one another. They should simply close in together and duck under the arch to become active for a star thru and California twirl, etc.
