Shoot that star, go full around, corner box the gnat
Yank that throttle back grand right & left you go
When you meet your lady promenade the line
Old 97's gotta stay on time

Head 2 ladies chain to the right, turn the girls around
Chain them on they're halfway round the ring
Head 2 couples square thru 4 hands around you do
Meet the sides and do a right & left thru
Now dive in, California twirl, swing the corner maid
Swing that little gal and promenade
Take her to the roundhouse at the end of the track
Swing her once then she'll be coming back
