two columns

OPENER - MIDDLE BREAK - CLOSER    Basic - SSD Week 4

Sides face, grand square
The people were clapping their hands to the beat
Of the music
When in the front door walked the prettiest girl
I have seen
, allemande left and weave the ring
Her eyes black as coal, seemed to dance in the light of the lantern
Swing and promenade
I asked who she was and she said Rosalia
Was her name

FIGURE    Basic - SSD Week 10, corner progression

Heads promenade travel halfway round there
You'll square thru
Go all the way, a right & left thru, turn that girl
Veer to the left and ferris wheel
Square thru three, that corner lady swing
Promenade her
Just one more dance and I said to myself
I must go

TAG

Swing her
I hope someday I will see Rosalia again
