two columns

OPENER - MIDDLE BREAK - CLOSER    Basic

Why don't you walk around your corner lady, see saw round your taw
Join your hands and circle left and then
Allemande left your corner girl, turn a right hand round your own
Left allemande your corner, weave the ring
When I come home at night she will be waiting
So promenade your lady home and swing
I'd rather have a paper doll to call my own
Than have a fickle-minded real live girl

FIGURE (Twice for heads, twice for sides)    Basic, corner progression

Now 1 & 3 you promenade go halfway round the square
2 & 4 will do the right & left thru (backaway)
Now 1 & 3 square thru 4 hands around you know
Then with the sides you make a right hand star
Heads star left go once around the ring now
Swing your corner girl and promenade
I'd rather have a paper doll to call my own
Than have a fickle-minded real live girl
