Sides face grand square
She was sitting there with foils in her hair just 2 chairs down from me
Talking 'bout a boy in a Tacoma
How he went and picked her up on Friday, just last week
Allemande left and weave
Funny how that day he said he was working late, and didn't make it home 'till three
Well I ain't an eavesdropper, but I heard his name dropping
Now I'm crying, and it ain't the bleach

Heads square thru 4 hands you know
All the way around and then
Step to a wave
Girls trade, swing thru, boys run
Ferris wheel, walk right on in
Centers veer left, centers veer right, all veer right
Couples trade, keep her, and promenade
What a way to find out...He's going blonde

Sides face grand square
Oh, we should've known better than to try to be clever
Cause this town's way too small
And big hair's full of secrets
But, here we don't keep 'em cause us girls like to talk
Allemande left and weave
When I start being honest, she'll have more to process than the platinum on her head
And when I get home, he's getting cut off just like these dead ends

Sides promenade halfway around while the heads do a right & left thru
Heads Square Thru 2, just 2, and then slide thru with the outside 2
Touch 1/4, triple scoot
Boys run, pass thru, trade by
Swing and promenade
What a way to find out
He's going blonde

Sides face grand square
Well it's safe to say that I've had better days
Sitting here at the hair salon
He always said that he liked brunettes, well
I guess those days are gone
Allemande left and weave
Sneaking around with girls with golden curls, I should've seen it all along
What a way to find out...He's going blonde

Heads face grand square, just halfway
Gonna find himself on the street, Give me back my spare key
Yeah... he went blonde
