I Want To Be A Country Boy Again

two columns

OPENER - MIDDLE BREAK - CLOSER    Basic - SSD Week 11

Four little ladies promenade, go once around the ring
Gonna get on home and box the gnat and give your man a swing
Join up hands and circle left go walking round the ring
Do an allemande left on the corner, weave the ring
Well you weave 'em in and out around until you meet your maid
Gonna dosado around and then you promenade
Well I wandered through the hearts of man searching for a sign
Now I'm going to be a country boy again

FIGURE    Mainstream, corner progression

Now one and three you promenade, go halfway round the square
Gonna lead to the right and circle up four and make a line for me
Go right & left thru and turn your girl, then roll a half sashay
You pass thru and tag the line and then (face in)
Well you slide thru and square thru 3/4 around you go
And you swing the corner lady and then you promenade
I said goodbye to city friends, department stores and bars
Now I'm going to be a country boy again

TAG

The rain is falling lightly on the buildings and the cars
And I'm going to be a country boy again
